Restoring this brown leather jacket that had faded over the years was more time consuming as we had to apply traditional dying methods. The results are astounding!
Most modern tanning methods are waterbased micro pigments which enables us to apply an even colour  coverage when fading occurs.
This brown jacket had been tanned using traditional dyes, when fading occurs we have to re-apply the traditional dye by hand quckly and continuously to attain a good colour result ... Not a process to be attemptedf if you inexperienced.

A 'Boss' leather jacket had suffered unexplained colour loss to several areas of the jacket.
As the leather was a luxury distressed hide the restoration would normally be impossible to re-create to blend in successfully.
Using a careful hand dyeing procedure to the affected areas and an experienced spray technique that imitated the distressed appearance the restoration was complete and successful.
Finally the area was sealed to maintain weather protection.
